How we help

Pressure testing

Cast iron radiators are made up of separate sections. Multiple hollow columns maximise the amount of metal touching the air. However the seals between them sometimes need replacing, particularly on reproduction radiators.

Seal Replacement

We dismantle radiators to stop leaks and replace the seals in between the sections. This does not include cosmetic work such as blast cleaning or repainting.

Cosmetic overhaul

This includes:

  • Stripping off the old paint and any rust.
  • Repositioning the threaded caps at the top and bottom ends of a radiator that allow even antique cast iron radiators to fit with modern pipework. These are known as bushes. 
  • Replacing bleed valves.
  • Meticulously applying multiple layers of trade-exclusive paint to achieve a high-quality finish.

Renovation

  • Dismantling your radiator into its parts.
  • Stripping away old paint.
  • Replacing seals, bushes, bleed valves and joining nipples.
  • Rebuilding the radiator and testing it.
