Saltfire ST-X8

The Saltfire ST-X8 is a recent addition to our line of exceptionally clean-burning stoves and is available in a standard and tall version.

This innovative model, the largest in the ST-X series, boasts an 8kW output and an impressive efficiency rating of around 81%.

It is already compliant with EcoDesign standards to meet the ErP requirements of 2022, ensuring minimal emissions.

The ST-X8 features a spacious firebox that can accommodate larger logs, offering a wide range of heat output.

Crafted from a robust, precision-welded steel body with a cast iron door and thermo-refractory fire brick linings, this stove exceeds DEFRA standards for exemption, making it suitable for use across the UK, even in smoke control zones.

User-friendly controls make operation simple, while the large viewing window provides a captivating view of the unique flame pattern created by the advanced after-burner system.

This multi-fuel stove can efficiently burn wood logs or smokeless coal, with ashes conveniently collected in the removable ash can.

The ST-X8 comes fully assembled and includes a high-temperature mitt. Finished in black high-temperature paint from the USA and featuring thermo-ceramic clear glass from the renowned "Schott" brand in Germany, this stove is equipped with an air-wash system to maintain clear glass at all times.

It offers a 5" (125mm) diameter top and rear flue outlet, compatible with 5" diameter flue liner or twinwall flue installations.
