Our Commitment
Next review date 1 Jan 2027
Vintage Cast Iron Radiators is committed to operating responsibly and minimising the environmental impact of our activities. We recognise that our responsibilities extend beyond compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and we actively seek to reduce our environmental footprint while continuously improving our performance.
As specialists in the restoration and reuse of original cast iron radiators, sustainability is embedded within our core business model. By extending the lifespan of existing products, we actively reduce demand for new manufacturing, conserve raw materials, and minimise waste.
Carbon Awareness
We recognise the impact of carbon emissions associated with our operations. We are committed to reducing emissions through efficient energy use, responsible sourcing, and minimising transport requirements wherever practicable.
We are dedicated to operating responsibly, minimising our environmental impact, and continually enhancing our environmental performance, striving to lead by example in sustainable business practices.
Scope
This policy applies to all company activities, including workshop operations, sourcing, logistics, and customer
engagement. It also extends to suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, and any other stakeholders whose activities may impact, or be impacted by, our operations.
The scope encompasses the management of environmental aspects, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and the continual improvement of environmental performance across all relevant processes and interactions.
Responsibility & Governance
Overall responsibility for the implementation and ongoing development of this policy rests with Andrew Whittingham, Company Director.
